WHAT COOKIES ARE
Cookies are text files that store certain information for a limited time. The first time you enter a website, your browser downloads them automatically and saves them on your device (phone, tablet, computer). A cookie has at least two components, a name and a value. It usually also carries the date on which it will be deleted automatically, set according to the planned lifetime of the file. There is a difference between session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are deleted automatically as soon as the browsing session ends. Persistent cookies stay on your computer for the whole lifetime of the file and are deleted only at the end of that period.
Cookies are there to make visits to websites easier and more pleasant for users. They store the settings you prefer, and when you return to a site they let it remember which products you last put in your basket, or make sure the page opens with your preferred settings or font size.
WHICH COOKIES WE USE
Technical: the website itself stores no cookies. It remembers your consent choice in the browser’s storage (localStorage, key flamesite-consent), not in a cookie.
Analytics: once you allow analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 are loaded. Google Analytics stores the cookies _ga (2 years) and _ga_<id> (2 years), which distinguish visitors and sessions. Without your consent these cookies are not stored and nothing is sent to Google’s servers.
Marketing: we do not use them.
WHY WE MAY PROCESS COOKIES
We process analytics cookies only on the basis of your consent under Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll. (Electronic Communications Act). You can withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the website.
HOW TO PREVENT COOKIES
Cookies that are stored for traffic measurement and for statistics on visits and on the behaviour of visitors to our website are assessed in aggregate, in a form that does not allow an individual visitor to be identified.
You can adjust the cookie permissions in your browser settings so that they suit your needs better. Most browsers let you accept or delete all cookies, or allow only some types of cookie. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your device by choosing the “do not accept cookies” option in your browser settings.
