Banáni is an eight-part comedy crime series for prima+, set largely in a supermarket in a Czech town near the German border. On an ordinary morning just before Christmas, young storeman Jirka (Cyril Dobrý) finds a consignment of cocaine worth hundreds of millions of crowns hidden in a delivery of Colombian bananas. Despite his doubts he decides to sell it, with the help of warehouse manager Šárka (Sandra Nováková) and security guard Iggy (Ondřej Malý). After a string of failed attempts the inexperienced trio hits on a system that works: dealing straight from the checkout, using the soft toys the supermarket hands out as loyalty rewards. Before long, though, the problems start to pile up, along with some utterly unbelievable twists.
