Punch and Run (Ubal a zmiz) is a crime comedy of three stories that collide. Friends Mireček (Matouš Ruml) and Vilém (Janek Gregor) make a living growing weed and get an offer they can’t refuse: sell their entire stock in one night. But after they shake on a deal with a dangerous Bulgarian (Predrag Bjelac) and his right-hand man (Karel Dobrý), they find that their grow room has been cleaned out. They have a few hours to save the deal of the year, and their own little fingers. Two old-school cops (Martin Hofmann and Leoš Noha) have been suspended: one acts like a psychopath, the other is burnt out, and when they ask to be reinstated, their superiors turn them down. To win back their jobs and their honour, they go after a suitcase full of valuable goods on their own, and they don’t pull any punches along the way. And rocker André S. (Marek Lambora) has a problem: he has signed a contract for three teen pop albums. In public he plays the star, but inside he is going mad, and he would trade his flat, his car and his fame for one proper night of rock and roll. That is exactly what he gets when he picks up the wrong suitcase at the airport.
